The time I started to wear it, women complimented me because of it; however, the fragrance didn't last long.

This fragrance holds the Armani signature that takes me back to the mid-late 1990s, maybe it's the amber note that attains this mawkishness. But after a few wearings, (usually during a run) the saffron note was too flowery for my taste, during dry down.

The piny wood (cedar) and grassy notes (vetiver) linger in the background all the time, and leads my mind to christmas, when combined with the mandarin orange. A kind of muted perfume very suitable for office or dinner - places where a fragrance could be annoying. Very beginning, a little awkward, even feel, a bit awkward and synthetic notes, that will be supported mandarin saffron, and a very strange combination to survive it, really, but after the first hit, synthetic performance , noble, warm drvenost so nice to just have a feeling that caresses you, beautiful cedar and vetiver, harsh and uncompromising, and yet so warm, amber and further brings them further, caressing soft incense, lush and mysterious, while the musk just an observer present, and yet so unobtrusive! The base is created of deep amber, a mysterious substance that transforms from organic liquid into hard crystals. This scent would be good for night outs but because of weak projection and longevity it's not suitable for that. I decided it has to be ArmaniMania, although my first encounter with flash – on somebody else – totally felt like Eternity. A fresh and citrusy blend of mandarine orange mixed with saffron, soft spicy and musk as they provide a fresh masculinity and captivating elegance that it captivates the attention especially a woman as she loves it and will follow a man wearing.

Though if they eventually stop making it I'll still need an alternative so any suggestions welcome please! mariana: I have recently been introduced to Jimmy Choo’s Flash, and in the first couple of days I could not rest my mind till I discovered what it smelled like. For example, I learned upon re-purchasing this old favorite that I no longer needed Jack Black's Blue Mark, Ineke's Derring-Do, YSL's L'Homme Libre, and C. I scoured the internet for months and finally was able to score 4 back ups which I hope will last us the rest of our lives. Saffron probably gives some spicy twist which makes Mania smell a bit more unique, but also musk plays a role in providing a really peculiar sort of watery-metallic feel underneath the spicy woodiness.I almost kept this based off the opening alone but it's just too short-lived and the rest of it doesn't do anything for me. Mania is seriously underrated, I belive it's because it's overshadowed by Armani Code namely and other men's fragrances in the Armani line. This fragrance was perfectly balanced graphite-amber, citrus, and a water note (clear water, not blue water), pure class eternal. I also experienced this when I started using Lacoste White, Perry Ellis Reserve, and YSL Pour Homme.

Because there is no decorative packaging, we can purchase these items for less and pass the savings on to you. Still have around 2cm left in the 100ml bottle and hardly use it because I don't want it to run dry. Now, projection and longevity are very weak -the bottle is from sephora in Paris so its legit- but I´ll not forget to try it on spring and I cant wait until there. The smell of Armani Mania is amusingly nothing like you'd think a fragrance named "Mania" would be; this isn't pungent, bizarre, or even remotely challenging at all. I think it’s what makes it feel so light yet creamy at the same time – because of the woods, I think.but I like it - for the first thirty minutes (which is nearly the entire life span of Mania) I actually almost love it. While I don't agree with the statements of it being a masterpiece or lady-killing compliment bomb, because Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de L'Homme (2009) was exactly that within the same genre as this stuff, I can get behind the subtly and seemingly innocuous nature of Armani Mania being a hidden strength rather than a weakness. fragrantica - The note breakdown that used to be displayed above was actually the correct note breakdown. Also, it holds up on fabric so if you spray Mania liberally onto your clothes you'll have a better ride.
