The younger Martin wisely doesn’t calibrate the records for 21st-century ears by adding modern polish and trickery. The sunny vocals on “Good Day Sunshine” sound even sunnier, more upfront and joyful and bursting with optimism. I’m happy about this new Super Deluxe Revolver 4LP/1EP box set, hands down — and I think you will be too!

Given the limitations of what they could do at the time, it is perfectly fine, and no doubt has its charms. Perhaps a better strategy would be to hire some young kids to play all the Beatle parts over again and re-sing it too. In October 2021, Martin told Super Deluxe Edition: "I don't think it's ready at this moment in time", [3] but noted about Revolver: "There's not as much bouncing down on Revolver as there is on Pepper. But then the other day I went for a walk and played the whole album as I strolled through the trees, and thought, ‘Nah, this is just fine, as it is. It’s a little hard to tell, but I think Paul is the main offender here, quite uncharacteristic of him really. Even “Tomorrow Never Knows,” Martin says, is very efficient compared to the average modern pop production. Many fans consider this album to be a better and more important release than their generally acknowledged masterpiece, June 1967’s Sgt.

The audio is brought forth in stunning clarity with the help of cutting edge de-mixing technology developed by the award-winning sound team led by Emile de la Rey at Peter Jackson's WingNut Films Productions Ltd.Now some kid screwed around with the position of the instruments in stereo and I am supposed to care the SQ is a little cleaner?
