The established romance author successfully built on her TikTok fanbase to launch a new genre, accompanied with a striking marketing campaign making it is the third-bestselling paperback of 2022, according to BookScan. This book has since became my bible and I’ll be taking it with me to my upcoming doctors appointment when I go to discuss HRT. I suppose I would have enjoyed this book if it had been my first read on the topic as the language is rather casual and straightforward. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

I would say it’s more a compilation of personal accounts from women who had suffered a myriad of menopausal symptoms rather than merely a scientific book, which is what I was expecting. Parents who took two-year-old to Everest base camp say doctors were 'amazed' that he didn't suffer from. After having read several books written by menopause experts, I bought this book in the hope of gaining further insights into the menopause. I am on HRT, it has changed my life and my only fear at the moment is that I get forced to stop the treatment.

This book is a godsend and really helped me to better understand what I’m dealing with and how to meet it head on. out of 5 stars as it made me cry, gave me lots of easy to digest information and science and whilst I didn't necessarily agree with Davina on all or other topics, her committment to achieving change for 51% of the population is to be highly commended. By exploring and explaining the science, debunking damaging myths, and smashing the taboos around the perimenopause and menopause, this book will equip women to make the most informed decisions about their health… and their lives.
