Gen Dhillon came into the limelight in the aftermath of the Pulwama car bomb attack and the retaliation by the Indian Army in response to that dastardly attack. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. Kitne Ghazi Aaye, Kitne Ghazi Gaye (Signed by the author): A True Life Account of Bravery And Sacrifice of An Army Soldier Who Served India For More Than 40 Years. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, every word of every excerpt of every chapter and I am now looking forward to reading more on this subject.

Throughout the book it is felt that the author wants to be absolutely correct about everything he is writing (so many repeated explanations are given about small things) and is not expressing himself freely like autobiographies usually are.Values nurtured by Indian Army training academies and by unit in initial service are conveyed in form of anecdotes to convey valuable lessons which can be applied in business or in combat zone. He was at the forefront of majority of Indian Army's post 1989 Kashmir Ops including the post Article 370 and Pulwama incidents).

Dhillon describes how he designed various soft operations of the Army, such as Operation Maa, Humsaya Hain Hum, Taleem se Taraqqi, and many more. Keep the ecosystem of disrupted -- functional despite the imposition of a ban on the Jamaate-Islami (Jel) by the Indian Government or the increased raids by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on related entities. It is obvious from the narrative that the General had a very satisfying tenure of almost 4 decades in the Indian Army. This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. He explains how Pakistan and the ISI are playing the proxy war in Kashmir and what our counter strategies can be.Leaving everything aside , I must say I learnt a lot from this book about the life of army men and their families. I have mixed feelings about this book, on one hand I really enjoyed reading it and loved all the anecdotes and experiences that the author has shared with the readers. This book is a decent autobiography which like all autobiographies talks about the author's life at great lengths. Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages.

There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds. Tiny Dhillon's memoir not just offers a compelling and insightful narrative of his distinguished life and military career, it delves into the challenges and triumphs faced on the front lines, providing a unique perspective on leadership, strategy, and the profound impact of decisions made while in action.

Tiny Sir has been able to inspire many, whether they would end up joining armed forces or not, through sharing anecdotes from his personal life. However, by looking at the title, I was expecting more details of various operations undertaken by the army, but it was more of an overview in most cases. Lieutenant General Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon, PVSM, UYSM, YSM, VSM (Retd), an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, is a 1983-commissioned Infantry Officer (Rajputana Rifles). The book takes you deeper into Sir Tiny Dhillon’s personal life where early childhood traumas and love from family has made him stronger.
